Read Across America Week
Description
March 4-8 is Read Across America Week! This year, we are doing a Read Around the World Theme. Each day, students can pick up a special craft kit or keepsake from a different continent.
March 4 – S. America (pick up a carnivale mask to decorate and color)
March 5 – Asia (pick up a year of the dragon fortune teller template)
March 6 – Australia (get a Koala bookmark)
March 7 – Africa (pick up an animal headband kit)
March 8 – Europe (get the materials to make a castanet from Spain)
March 6 will also be Drop everything and read day! Ms A will announce a few times that day to DROP EVERYTHING AND READ! It will be up to teachers if and how long they have students read.
